SIL mandatory registration

SIL registration is now mandatory.
Here's everything you need.

From 1 October 2026, all providers delivering Supported Independent Living must be registered with the NDIS Commission. We've put together a free starter pack to help you get there.

1 July 2026 onwards
Transition period begins. Unregistered SIL providers must take action during this period to remain in the NDIS market.
1 October 2026 Hard deadline
If you have not applied by this date, you must stop delivering SIL. Penalties will apply.

SIL is now classified as a high-risk support, meaning all providers registered or not must go through formal registration and a certification audit before 1 October 2026. Whether you're brand new to registration or an existing Centro customer looking to add SIL, we've got the resources to help you get audit-ready.
